The industry is the brand
Filter + Pro. No explanation needed on a business card, an email signature or a trade-show booth. The name does the first sentence for you.
FilterPro.cn is two English words — readable across languages, built for a global market. Written in Latin letters, it is pronounced and remembered the same way in Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Spanish without translation or explanation. Six companies across five countries already use it for water treatment, automotive filtration and industrial filtration: the demand is real, exclusivity is not.
FilterPro.cn does not make people guess. Industry, professionalism and market — three signals in one name. For a filtration business, that kind of clarity compounds over time.
Filter + Pro. No explanation needed on a business card, an email signature or a trade-show booth. The name does the first sentence for you.
A .cn domain feels natural to Chinese manufacturers, export teams and procurement managers. It is a web address and a statement of presence at the same time.
Nine characters, two common English words, pure ASCII. Easy to say over the phone, easy to print, easy to turn into an email domain.

Filtration is not one market but six: industrial dust control, water-filter cartridges, automotive filters, air purification, precision filtration and filtration equipment exports. Growth rates differ — none of them is shrinking.
2025 → 2034, USD billion
China dust-control engineering services (¥120B in 2025); ultra-low emission retrofits are policy-driven.
Global cartridge market, 7.07% CAGR — while China’s purifier retail sales fell 4.5%.
China’s water filtration & purification machinery exports, up 25% vs 2020 (UN Comtrade).
Global market, forecast $25.3B by 2035; China’s aftermarket needs over 1 billion units a year.
Global precision filter market; China exceeds ¥30B, with high-end units at 30%.
Full-channel retail forecast; models above ¥3,500 now exceed 22% of value.
Note on scope: research firms define “filters”, “filtration & separation”, “industrial dust removal” and “water purifiers” differently. The figures above are not additive. Sources: Fortune Business Insights (2025), GEP Research (2026), AVC (2026), GMI (2026), UN Comtrade via Reuters.
The value in filtration is not in equipment — it is in consumables. Equipment is a one-off sale decided on specs and price. Cartridges are a 3–5 year repeat purchase decided on brand trust.
Consumables have a physical constraint: there is very little room to print on a filter cartridge. So a consumables brand must be short, pronounceable and usable as a trademark. FilterPro is nine letters that fit on the side of a cartridge.
China’s water purifier retail sales were ¥22.9B in 2025, down 4.5% — the hardware side is contracting. Meanwhile the global cartridge market grows at 7.07% toward $24.7B by 2032. Industrial filter bags are now replaced every 3–4 years; China’s automotive aftermarket needs over a billion filters a year.
Sell the machine once, sell the cartridge for a decade. As the industry shifts from hardware to consumables, companies start naming their consumables separately — exactly the window that a “category + tier” name like FilterPro fits.
“Pro” is not decoration. It is the most successful naming arbitrage of the past decade: split one product line into two, sell one on volume and one on margin.
The standard model carries volume; the Pro model carries margin. Same tooling, two prices.
Buyers of Pro are not buying specs. They are buying confirmation that they are a professional user.
Apple’s 2026 line-up was summarised by the press as “drop Pro, add Pro Max — the more expensive, the better it sells”.
| Domain | Nature | Distinctiveness | Commercial meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
| Filter.cn | Pure category word | Very weak | “Filtration” itself — any competitor can use it, nobody can own it |
| FilterPro.cn | Category + tier | Medium | “Professional-grade filtration” — can anchor a product line or sub-brand |
| FilterMaster.cn | Category + superlative | Weak-medium | Reads like a slogan; hard to carry a serious industrial brand |
Higher distinctiveness does not mean the mark is registrable today. Several parties already use FilterPro in filtration, and the position in China’s Class 11 needs a professional search. This page explains naming economics only; it is not a registrability opinion.
Not every buyer is a fit. These six types of organisations can turn the name into a working brand asset.
Oil, air, fuel and hydraulic filter manufacturers. Use FilterPro.cn for a product-line site or an export brand that explains itself.
OEM / ODMBag filters, cartridge collectors, flue-gas treatment and VOCs. A direct name lowers the cost of explaining what you do.
ENGINEERINGRO membranes, ultrafiltration, industrial water and home purification. “Professional filtration” carries over naturally.
WATERHEPA, FFU, fresh-air systems and cleanroom engineering. Works as a B2B brand or a specialist product division.
CLEAN AIRFor manufacturers selling to overseas buyers: an English two-word .cn keeps the Chinese supply-chain identity without a second name to remember.
EXPORTTrade publications, exhibition sites, sourcing platforms or association projects. A category name makes a natural long-term entry point.
MEDIA / EXPOFilterPro is not an unused name in this industry — which is both a risk and proof of demand. Here is what you should know before you bid.
FilterPro is not an unused name in this industry. Public records show at least six companies in the United States, China, New Zealand and the UAE using FilterPro or a close variant, some of them for decades. A US semiconductor company also used the same name for a filter-design software tool. None of this changes who owns the domain, but it does affect how you use it.
This site displays the domain asset only, and has no affiliation, authorisation or endorsement relationship with any entity of the same name. This site does not operate filter products, equipment or engineering services, and does not sell, represent or promote any filter goods or services. The domain is not used for any commercial operation, nor as the official site, redirect target or mail domain of any same-name entity. The asset offered is the domain FilterPro.cn itself, excluding trademarks, trade names, patents, customer lists or any third-party right. Buyers intending to use the domain for filtration products or services should complete their own trademark search and legal due diligence before use.
Out of respect for third-party goodwill, the list below discloses only the number of entities and their countries/regions; full company names and their domains are masked. A complete list is available under NDA.
We choose to disclose this rather than avoid it. A clean transaction starts with clear information. Please note the seller is not a trademark lawyer and does not provide legal advice — and that masking a name does not mean the underlying facts are unknown.

FilterPro.cn already comes with a six-language landing page, brand narrative and SEO groundwork. The six items below ship with your tier — they are not sold separately. Buy it and tell a complete brand story from day one.
Tier 01 delivers the domain and transfer support only; Tier 02 and Tier 03 add the site, data pack and transition services. There is no separately priced “asset bundle” — assets follow the tier.
See the three tiersThe most common risk in a domain deal is transferring first or paying first. We only use third-party escrow or a platform-backed process, so neither side has to trust the other’s word.
Tell us your use case, budget and timeline through the form or by email. An NDA is available.

1–3 daysThe buyer funds Escrow.com, an Aliyun push or another mutually agreed escrow.

1 dayTier 01 bare price. Tiers that include the site, data pack and transition support are listed in the pricing section.
Just the name, or a brand asset you can launch with? Price follows scope. No tier includes any trademark right.
Why ¥188,000? Start with what it is not. On .cn comparables this name sits in the ¥10,000–100,000 band — tianyu.cn, a two-character pinyin .cn, sold at a fixed ¥98,000 in September 2026, the top of that band for a sector-relevant .cn. ¥188,000 is outside it. This price is not derived from comparables.
It is derived from replacement cost. For a company whose brand is FilterPro, which operates in China, and whose China site runs on a domain that does not match the brand, there are only three ways to unify the name:
Registering a different .cn means new trademark filings and a full rebrand of packaging and collateral, with existing recognition reset to zero over 18–36 months; filterpro.com is held by its owner and not listed. The third is the only route that is paid once and unified the next day — and the lowest total cost of the three.
It does not buy a trademark. It buys one entrance. FilterPro is used by six entities across five countries and regions; nobody can own it exclusively. What can be owned exclusively is one thing: the single entrance to that name in the China market. Six entities sharing the name means the search term is a public asset that gets split every day — .cn is the only part of it that can still be held individually. This price holds only for an entity meeting three verifiable conditions: its brand is FilterPro, it operates in China, and its current domain does not match its brand. Very few public entities meet all three. So ¥188,000 is an asking price, not a settlement price — the price moves only against a real offer.
Reference asking prices; final terms confirmed in writing. The sale does not include any trademark or third-party right.
Prices are set in CNY; USD figures are converted at approx. 1 USD = 7.2 CNY for reference only.
